Wade Lewin

Born and raised in Manchester, Wade started dancing with Trafford Youth Contemporary Theatre at the age of nine.  Some years later he joined Company Fierce Dance, a local Street dance group with whom he won the 2005 National Street Dance Championship. In 2006 after moving to London, his band The Beatfreakz scored two Top 10 singles and had a national tour.

In 2010 Wade made his West End Debut in Disney’s The Lion King and, after finishing on the West End, he was one of three Lawn Captains chosen to perform at the London 2012 Olympics. He was also cast in Harry Potter 6 as a nefarious Inferi.

Over the years Wade has performed in a number of pantomimes, working with artists including Priscilla Presley, Warwick Davis and Steve Gutenberg. He has also had the lead in a number of adverts, including the Leo Vegas campaign and also worked as Ashley Banjo’s stand in filming the Got To Dance advert.

Recent theatre lead roles include Aladdin, in Jamie Marcus’ Panto Production, Kyle in Anthony Williams production of Legally Blonde and most recently, Jack in The Romford Rose at the Hornchurch Theatre.
